Die Centennial International Exhibition von 1876, die erste offizielle Weltausstellung in den USA, wurde in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, organisiert, um das 100. Jubiläum der Unabhängigkeitserklärung der Vereinigten Staaten zu feiern. Der offizielle Titel der Veranstaltung war International Exhibition of Arts, Manufactures and Products of the Soil and Mine. Sie wurde im Fairmount Park entlang des Schuylkill River abgehalten. Das Messegelände wurde von Hermann Schwarzmann gestaltet.
