Das Filmfest München ist das nach der Berlinale wohl bedeutendste Filmfestival in Deutschland. Es findet jährlich Ende Juni in München statt und ist damit Deutschlands bedeutendstes Sommer-Filmfestival. Es stellt Spiel-, Dokumentar- und Kurzfilme sowie Fernsehfilme in internationaler, europäischer oder deutscher Erstaufführung vor. Die 42. Ausgabe fand vom 27. Juni bis 6. Juli 2025 statt und das Filmfest München 2026 vom 26. Juni bis zum 5. Juli 2026.
