Die World’s Columbian Exposition 1893 war eine vom 1. Mai bis zum 30. Oktober 1893 in Chicago veranstaltete Weltausstellung, die neunzehnte ihrer Art. Die Ausstellung sollte zum 400. Jahrestag der Entdeckung Amerikas durch Kolumbus stattfinden. Wegen der zu kurzen Vorbereitungszeit waren die im September 1891 begonnenen Bauarbeiten zur Eröffnungsfeier am 21. Oktober 1892 nicht vollständig beendet. Die offizielle Eröffnung konnte daher erst 1893, ein Jahr nach dem Jubiläum, stattfinden.
