Zagrebački festival jedan je od najstarijih festivala zabavne glazbe uopće i najstariji festival zabavne glazbe u ovom dijelu Europe. Održava se neprekinuto od 1953. godine. Osnovan je samo četiri godine nakon svog uzora, najznačajnijeg festivala te vrste, onog u Sanremu.
