Die Duisburger Filmwoche ist ein Festival und Diskussionsforum für Dokumentarfilm. Sie findet seit 1978 alljährlich im November in Duisburg statt und konzentriert sich auf aktuelle Dokumentarfilme bundesdeutscher Produktionen, seit 1990 zusätzlich auf Produktionen aus der Schweiz und Österreich. Der Begriff Dokumentarfilm wird dabei weit gefasst und lässt Grenzüberschreitungen und „Mischformen“ zu.
