The Nwonyo Fishing Festival is an annual festival celebrated by the Ibi people in Taraba State, Nigeria on a lake located five kilometres North of the Ibi community. During the festival, Ibi and its neighboring communities come together to fish and re-unite. The lake is said to be the largest in West Africa as it runs 15 kilometres to the Benue River.
